Caitlin Rose Arcand (She/Her)
Writer/Director
IMDB
Caitlin Rose Arcand is a comedian, writer, director and producer using her psychology degree for anything but being a psychologist. Her candid stories have been heard on stages all over the country, notably appearing at The NC Comedy Festival, Solocom NYC, The Portland Comedy Festival and her parents’ living room. As a writer, she specializes in “the worst people you know,” bringing to life all of the unsavory characters that the East Coast has to offer.
Caitlin began her career in the arts over 10 years ago when she started producing and directing live entertainment in Rhode Island. She quickly moved into the Boston queer arts scene, producing and performing alongside drag performers who hated her makeup. In 2021, she was named one of CitiBank and Buzzfeed's Women to Watch for her women/LGBTQ+ centered humor platform, inspired by two sold-out years of Boston's only all-female comedy show, which she founded and hosted.
Caitlin has tackled her career with an “I’ll try anything once,” approach, which has landed her in places including: running a weekly late night show in a crowded Boston sports bar and directing a multi-cam water polo match for ESPN, a skill she had approximately 5 minutes to acquire. She has worked in production with companies like Netflix, Dirty Water Media, The Ivy League Network and Luminant Media, and produced the two award-winning queer films, “Oreo” and “Happy Hour." Today, she works as a Screenwriting Executive, in addition to freelancing as a Creative Director for Hollywood social media and marketing clients through her company Arcand Entertainment & Creative.
