OUR MISSION

CREW.png

It has never been a more important time to support and uplift female and LGBTQIA+ voices. Through the production of this film, we hope to foster a community where independent film thrives. We hope to open doors for women and queer filmmakers, as well as support local businesses and organizations in the Boston area.

SOCIAL COMMENTARY

Beyond its campy gay persona, Burn Baby Burn is a film about societal pressures and the desire to fit in. In the age of influencers, nepo babies and cancel culture, there is a constant need to fit into an ever-changing mold. We are a generation of people who turn on our phones every day to hear hundreds of opinions, from complete strangers, telling us how to dress, how to eat, how to breathe. We are made to feel inadequate if we so much as attempt to stray from the norm.

Now, most young people will NOT be capitalizing on burning bodies....however there are very real dangers in the lengths people will go to to achieve unrealistic expectations set by the internet.  This film aims to shine a light on the ridiculous phenomena we’ve built as a society.
